Hours: TBC

Grade: Grade 1/2 Spinal points 1-5

Salary: £21,228- £22,575 full time equivalent (Actual Salary will be pro rata)

To Start: September 2022

At Crownfield Junior, we believe in working as a team for the children that we are responsible for and care for. We are looking for someone new, someone like-minded, to join our well-motivated, happy team as we welcome children in September 2022 who will need one to one support. We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, organised person who has experience in supporting students with learning and behavioural needs, to enable them to fulfil their full potential within a school environment. Background knowledge and experience is essential. A good standard of Literacy and Numeracy is essential.

Our Ofsted Report in June 2018 stated:

‘The school has a strong culture of care. Pupils are extremely polite and well behaved.  In lessons, they are engaged in their learning and listen to one another respectfully’.

‘Pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities are being supported well and are making strong progress from their starting points.’

We are lucky to be set in beautiful grounds. Our children are great to work with: polite, enthusiastic, hard working with a sense of fun!  We have a very stable staff who work together for the good of the children – they have a sense of humour too!  We are currently expanding from a 3-form to a 4-form entry.

The LSA would work under the direction of the Senior Management Team and the SENCo. At all times, the LSA will work within a Year Group and plan alongside them, reporting to the Head of Year on an agreed system of supervision and management.
