We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to join Croydon in our 0-18 children with disabilities service. There has never been a greater focus on children’s services in Croydon than right now, making it an exciting place to take the next step in your social work career.
Our statutory service for children and young people with disabilities serve 1200 residents and we need your passion and commitment as a social worker. We are seeking a Team Manager who genuinely cares, and who wants nothing but the best outcomes for Croydon’s children and their families.
The Children with Disabilities Team is a fast-paced busy service, the team provides services for Children with severe and complex disabilities. The work spans working with Children Looked After, CIN, CP and Care Proceedings.
We are inviting applications from experienced Team managers with extensive relevant experience who want to work within the Children with Disabilities Team and make a difference to our most vulnerable young people.

About You
The Team Manager will take operational responsibility for a team of Social Workers in respect of;
Qualified and registered Social Worker who is Social Work England registered
Experienced in making assessments, implementing plans and delivering interventions for children in the relevant service area of the child’s journey.
Experienced in leading and managing performance of a team of social workers, ensuring the cases are allocated effectively in terms of skills and experience suited to the complexity of the case.
Full time 36 hours per week
