The London Borough of Redbridge is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified graduate planner to join its busy Development Management team.
The team have worked to transform the service over the last three years to meet the challenges faced by unprecedented growth in the borough and were named Local Authority Planning Team of the Year in the National Planning Awards 2020, The Planning Team of the Year (Public Sector) in the RTPI London Awards for Planning Excellence 2021 and have been shortlisted for the Best Council Service Team at The Municipal Journal (The MJ) Awards in 2022.
Redbridge is a diverse borough with exciting opportunities such as the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) corridor. We need to proactively manage the investment being made in the borough to deliver a significant amount of new housing and supporting community infrastructure, drive economic growth to encourage local businesses to thrive and create a place in which people are proud to live, work and visit.
This exciting career grade role offers a graduate the opportunity to progress in their career up to a senior planner level.
Our offices are in Ilford Town Centre, although we operate a hybrid working model with a mix of office and home working.
