Ealing’s Integrated Youth Service is seeking to appoint a Careers Adviser (Connexions Personal Adviser).
Full or part time (21 hours up to 35 hours a week and term-time only if requested)
The role will involve providing a careers information advice and guidance service to range of young people both in schools and in the community who are seeking education, employment and training.
Experience of supporting vulnerable young people and those with SEN is welcome but not essential
Connexions supports young people aged 13-30 by providing high quality and impartial Careers Information, advice and guidance as well as brokering access to a range of more specialist services designed to raise achievement and aspirations as well as reducing the risk of drop out and anti-social behaviour.

- Provide accessible non-judgemental, client centred and confidential information, advice, guidance and support in a variety of settings to individuals and groups of young people aged 13-30
- Support the tracking, recording and monitoring of young people living and/or educated in the borough of Ealing
Applicants should have or be undertaking a relevant professional qualification in Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at level 6 or have a level 4 Careers qualification with a commitment to undertake a level 6 qualification in CEIAG once started in post is required)
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
