Learning Mentor role

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Mentor who has the competence to be trained as deputy designated lead

  • Learning Mentor role - to provide support to disadvantaged or SEN students. Experience in education is desirable but not The successful candidate should be able to start asap

The successful applicant will:

  • be patient and approachable;
  • be able to guide pupils’ learning and be effective in a classroom situation;
  • have good people skills;
  • enjoy working in a successful local girls’ secondary school
  • willing to be trained as deputy safeguarding lead

This role would be very effective preparation for a graduate wishing to undertake a career in supporting children with their emotional and mental health.
