Early Help 0-18 Young Carers Project are looking to recruit 2 x Family Covid Resilience Practitioners (FCRP) on a 12-month basis.
The project offers dedicated opportunities to identified young carers and their families in Waltham Forest, enabling them to access activities that would not usually be possible. The programme is designed in-line with the boroughs “Families at the Heart of our Place” priorities, and are geared towards ensuring that our young carers and their families are Safe, Well, Connected, Resilient and Independent.
To continue supporting young carers and their families who have been effected by Covid, and more specifically the impact of Covid, the project is now looking to expand its team with further 2 x full time opportunities designed to support and assist young carers and their families over the next 12 months.
Family Covid Resilience Practitioners (FCRP) will offer dedicated 12-week interventions/ support, and work closely with existing family practitioners from Early Help 0-18 and Children’s Services (including other partner agencies), to help identify, assess, plan, review and enable young carer and their families to overcome the challenges and barriers they are facing as a result of Covid, long Covid or wider Covid.
Training, support, ongoing guidance and case direction will be provided to ensure that you are equipped and provided with the necessary tools for this role. Practitioners will also have access to monthly clinical supervision session and support.
