Community Equipment Services are seeking to create a talented and highly skilled team that can play a key role in building the commerciality of our highly regarded (nationally recognised) Community Equipment Service (CES). CES operates within Croydon Council as a stand-alone commercial business competing against other private sector providers.
The Community Equipment Service provides a vital service to residents, enabling them to maintain their independence at home. Through commercial contract partnerships with other local authorities we enable over 100,000 deliveries a year of essential pieces of health and social care related equipment. We are proud of our track record in delivering innovative commercial solutions which provide cost savings to ten local authorities, enabling resources to go further.
We have an exciting vision for future growth in our business plan delivering year on year commercial growth for our business. Our key development areas include new commercial contracts with public sector organisations.

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead on all management accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting processes within Community Equipment Services. This will include providing management accounting reports for management and the Board, delivering regular monthly and ad hoc reports to our partners, and ensure completeness of master data in the operational system.
The successful applicant will need to be a self-starter who takes the initiative to identify key issues and improve current practices, have demonstrable understanding of management accounting and financial modelling and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. In addition, they need to have experience of MS Office applications, with advanced excel. Power BI and SQL are highly desirable skills.
