We’re looking for an exceptional Construction Project Manager, who wants to make a difference and strive in a challenging fast-paced environment. If you have a proven track record of managing development projects from start on site to completion, then a fabulous opportunity has arisen to join us as Construction Project Manager on a fixed term or secondment basis until the end of July 2022.
As Optivo’s Construction Project Manager you will lead and manage day-to-day delivery on our development led projects, including mixed tenure and commercial schemes. You’ll drive delivery and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget and achieve value for money and meet project milestones. You’ll commission and liaise with developers, contractors, architects, cost consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver the construction of new developments. You’ll also be expected to adopt and comply with strategy and regulatory requirements, organisational values, policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Procurement, and Safeguarding.
What you'll need
With a proven track record in the delivery of residential projects, ideally working in the Housing sector for Housing associations, local authorities, consultancies or developers, you have experience of developing and maintaining successful relationships with key stakeholders. You’ll also need a clear understanding of the legal and operational requirements of housing development and the ability to analyse and create multi-phase project cash flows and assess feasibility throughout the project lifecycle.
The role will work with a range of residents and colleagues, so a positive approach to collaborative team working is essential. You’ll need to live our one team culture.
