Regional Coordinator – National Centre for Family Hubs
The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues. In April 2019, the Centre opened its new Centre of Excellence located in King’s Cross.

The National Centre for Family Hubs will be a virtual resource hub and learning network (supporting by a series of dissemination events) to champion family hubs and spread best practice/evidence on integrated family service models to Local Authorities (LAs) across England.
The post-holders will work with the Programme Manager and the team of Regional Coordinators to enable effective dissemination of expertise and iterative learning from best practice around Family Hubs to LAs and other stakeholders in their region(s).
The Regional Coordinator’s role will be to engage and consult with LAs in the region(s) to support them in the implementation of Family Hubs in their area. The post-holders will manage a seconded Regional Advisor in each region to support this. The post-holders will host regional events, regular action learning sets and be a key conduit for supporting LAs in their region(s) to learn from the National Centre to adopt Family Hubs.
The post would be suited to resilient, motivated, politically-aware, organised, creative, outward-looking individuals, adept in developing relationships and networks to influence local policy and practice.

Part-time (between 7-28 hours per week; 7 hours per region, up to four regions per post)
Seven regions available: North West, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England and South West
£30,000 per annum FTE plus 6% contributory pension scheme

This role is home-based/remote working, with travel within the region(s) required. There will be occasional travel to the Anna Freud Centre, 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.
