About the role

We are seeking a committed, hard-working and dynamic individual to work as part of the Learning and Development Team. We are mainly working from home right now and are able to offer flexible working arrangements to suit your circumstances on an ongoing basis, as well as safe office accommodation if needed.

Your role will be to help coordinate, market and support the provision of our learning programmes that are offered to council services and partner organisations across the city

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will have a key role in communicating with a variety of customers and training providers. We will provide full training, so more important than experience is a willingness to learn, a good eye for detail, good IT skills, a positive attitude and a desire to provide an excellent service. You will be working with others as part of a team and liaising directly with our customers and partners so excellent communication skills are important.

If you feel you have the skills and attributes we are looking for then we want to hear from you.

***Important Information to Candidates***

As part of the application process we require you to answer some questions to support your application called 'Branching Questions'. These questions form part of the online application process, accessed via the 'Apply' button. You will also be able to upload your CV.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.

Company information

We welcome applications from all sections of the community but particularly encourage applicants from a BME or White Other background as well as those who identify as, LGB, male or trans as these groups are currently under-represented in our Directorate workforce.
