We are looking to appoint a confident, experienced and reliable Cover Manager who will:
- Manage and organise cover for absent staff both Teaching and Associate staff.
- Be responsible for organising and providing induction and support for supply staff both Teaching and Associate staff.
- lead a team of Cover Supervisors
- Contribute to the wider administrative functions of the school.
- Record and report absence of staff.
Ideally, you will have worked in the role or a similar position previously and can demonstrate proficient use of SIMS, effective team management, training and quality assurance skills, adept communication and the ability to manage resources.
The successful candidate must have relevant recent experience and qualifications as identified in the person specification. A flexible approach and a willingness to actively seek to develop your own learning which enhances the service delivered, is essential. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance, punctuality and professional demeanour. It should be noted that you will be required on site promptly, at 7.00am.
