Job introduction

We are looking for a highly dedicated candidate to join our school community who will help all children reach their full potential in school and ensure children and their families are able to access relevant support. You will respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and work effectively with external agencies.

Paid weeks per year: 47.15 inclusive of holiday entitlement

Start date: 1 September 2021

 

 

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our school community who will:

  • help all children reach their full potential in school
  • ensure children and their families are able to access support in school, through the local authority and within the local community
  • respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
  • support staff through training and offer supervision on aspects of safeguarding practice
  • work effectively with external agencies
  • have a flexible approach to provision

We are a busy two form entry primary school on the outskirts of Brighton. We offer a friendly working environment and wonderful sea views! We have many links with the local community and are well supported by a strong governing body.

We commit to supporting our staff in their personal career development. There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to develop themselves and the role of Inclusion & Safeguarding Learning Mentor.
