St Paul’s Way Trust School, in association with Queen Mary University of London, is seeking to appoint a talented and forward thinking Associate Subject Leader for Mathematics (Subject Driver).
This is an exceptional career opportunity for a colleague who is ready to take on a leadership position and who is passionate about the entitlement of young people to a rich and inspiring mathematics curriculum. You will be an outstanding classroom teacher, with a track record of achieving strong academic results at key stage 4/5 and a compelling vision for the leadership of our mathematics curriculum. The maths faculty is one of the highest performing in the school. Outstanding student progress in maths consistently places us amongst the highest performing schools in the country and mathematics is our most popular subject in the sixth form, with 60% of students studying it at A Level. We also teach further maths and many students go on to study maths or engineering at university.
STEM subjects are at the heart of our provision. Our exceptional links with Queen Mary University, King’s College London, Warwick University and the University of East London shape an inspirational curriculum.
In March 2013, Ofsted described the school as ‘Outstanding’ in every category, including the VI Form. The school was commended for its “relentless pursuit of scholarship and excellence”.
Our award-winning building is situated in the heart of East London. Professor Brian Cox CBE is one of our Patrons.
