We have a fantastic opportunity for a Children & Families Information Manager to join our team based in Hackney. You will join on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract. The role undertakes the essential role of turning data into meaningful management information; driving service decisions and improvements. You’ll also play an essential role in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the Children & Families Service; working across a broad range of teams including Children's Social Care, Youth Offending, Early Help, Youth Services, Domestic Abuse.
You are the primary relationship manager for service managers across CFS for a number of Management Information (MI) reports, and following reinstatement of the Council’s IT systems, the statutory returns to central Government expected of a Local Authority (LA) CFS service (SSDA 903, CiN census etc). Through these relationships, knowledge of social work practice, and your technical expertise you will understand and deliver a number of key statutory returns. In addition you will understand and interpret service needs to deliver management information enabling service managers to make evidence based decisions.
You will have experience of MI/case management systems used in LA Children’s and Families Services.
