We are looking to recruit a Concierge (Security) Officer to join our existing team. You will be an experienced Security Officer holding at least one of the following SIA licences:
- SIA Door Supervisors Licence
- SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV licence
The Concierge Team provide a first point of contact to the public at multiple sites across the city. As first point of contact you will take pride in the level of customer service you provide to members of the public, visitors and colleagues.
You will have excellent communication skills, confident in the use of IT equipment and Microsoft Office, self-disciplined and motivated.
About the role
This is an exciting time to join the Concierge Team as we are expanding the team. Very soon we will be opening a new CCTV control room to monitor 11 council libraries across the city. Joining the team at the start of this new venture, you will have the opportunity to contribute in the development of the operational daily procedures which will shape the role.
The role is to include CCTV monitoring for Libraries Extra. Primarily based at Hove Town Hall. We are looking for customer focused, self-motivated individuals that can work unsupervised. You will join an existing team sharing duties on a rota basis covering all duties as described in the job description.

Permanent Contract 37 hours a week with some weekend working
