Job introduction

IT and Digital are looking for two Senior Technicians to join our multi-talented User Experience technical team. We are looking for skilled technicians to assist in the delivery of applications as well as the installation and maintenance of IT equipment through our Dell associated engineer certification program. You will have excellent communication and record keeping skills ensuring our customers have exactly what they need to complete their daily tasks. The User Experience team provide personalised, adaptive and informative technical assistance to our all our customers, so that they are able to use our implemented technologies to their full potential.

Interview dates: 23rd, 24th and 25th February 2021

Interviews will be held virtually.  Shortlisted candidates will be required to install Microsoft Teams on their mobile, tablet or computer.

About the role

Business as usual tasks include testing, installing, imaging, configuration and troubleshooting hardware and software. The User Experience team support Base Units, laptops, hybrid devices, tablets and smart phones as well as peripheral devices, Internet and email/communications services, fault finding network issues, network patching and device protection. Experience with Apple IPhones and OS platforms is advantageous. You will be expected to communicate with project stakeholders as a resource when allocated, 3rd party suppliers when faults arise and our customers both face to face, via email and on the telephone.
