Job introduction

The Greater Brighton Economic Board is seeking an skilled Programme Support Officer to work with the Greater Brighton Business Managers in delivering a number of projects and initiatives, including the Greater Brighton Five Year Strategic Priorities, the Sustainable Recovery Plan, Digital Action Plan, Energy and Water Plans, the annual work plan and the Investment Programme.

About the role

You will engage with senior representatives from central, regional and local government, council Members and officers, private and public sector CEO's and MD's and with a range of agencies, partners and stakeholders from across the Greater Brighton area. The role requires someone with sound administrative skills and experience of working in a busy project management environment.

You will need to exercise tact and discretion and be comfortable working as part of a team in an evolving and dynamic environment with changing and conflicting deadlines. You must possess good verbal and written communication skills, have excellent ICT skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
