Grade 7- £35,751- £39,867pa 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
You will work in conjunction with the LADO (Local Authority Designated Officer) to provide support, advice and consultation to professionals and residents in relation to allegations against professionals who work with children.
As well as this, you will be responsible for developing the boroughs approach to identifying and responding to the needs of the boroughs out of school settings. You will work in conjunction with providers and residents to raise awareness of training and safeguarding for out of schools settings. Alongside this you will identify and manage risks, and report to senior leaders the landscape of the out of school settings picture in the borough.
We are looking for an individual who is qualified social worker with a minimum two years post qualification experience. The post holder will be required to develop relationships with key stakeholders and professionals in a number of partner agencies so will need to be a confident communicator with good presentation skills. The role will also be required to work with children and young people to ascertain their views.
