Fixed term post for 6 months, 27 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We would be happy to consider anyone who would like to apply on the basis of a secondment from their substantive job. CareLink Plus operates 24 hours, seven days a week, providing a community alarm telecare service and co-ordinating a range of out-of-hours functions throughout the city. In this demanding multi-tasking role you will support the frontline team by providing an organised and resourced environment.

About the role
You will be the first contact for telephone enquiries demonstrating an excellent standard of customer service and interpersonal skills. You will process referrals through to conclusion in order to maximise uptake of the service. You will assess the suitability of referrals and be able to explain the uses and functions of the equipment available.
You will work collaboratively ensuring a responsive service is delivered whilst maintaining a number of administrative systems. You will manage the appointments system. You will have experience of providing services to vulnerable people, and excellent working knowledge and capability with IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
