Ekaya has reviewed the way maintenance and asset management is delivered across the organisation and we are keen to make positive changes to this area of our work. To do this we need to appoint a competent and experienced person who is suitably qualified to undertake inspections, surveys, and assist the Property Services & Asset Manager in managing the various contracts and achieving the set KPIs.

About the role

We are looking for a Property Maintenance Officer to help deliver on these expectations.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver Ekaya’s day to day repairs service, including assisting in disrepair cases and major repairs, and to specify and manage Ekaya’s void repairs in a timely manner. You will also be required to liaise with the Property Services & Asset Manager to ensure the Association’s stock is maintained to the highest possible standards and complies with legislative requirements within agreed budgetary levels and to provide Pre and Post Inspections in line with Ekaya’s inspection regime.

About you

You will have demonstrable knowledge of building construction, building standards and regulatory standards.

You will have knowledge and understanding how to drive excellent service delivery and value through effective contract management.

It would also be desirable if you hold a recognised qualification in a property related discipline with a minimum of HNC / HND level or equivalent.

With previous experience and a sound knowledge of property compliance you will make sure that Ekaya meets all its statutory and regulatory requirements ensuring our customers, staff and contractors are safe.

You will be able to clearly demonstrate Ekaya’s values and behaviours internally and externally, supporting our ambition to be an employer and partner of choice.
