Job Role: Head of Communications

We're looking for
A senior, expert, communications and brand professional who will influence every part of our business. You will be a motivating leader, designing, planning and executing strategies for effective and engaging communications to colleagues and customers..
Leading and working with a specialist and talented communications and design team, you will harness expertise, creativity and energy to deliver tangible outcomes for the business and be responsible for our brand and enhancing our strong reputation.

You will have extensive experience in developing and delivering communications strategies that support corporate objectives. You will possess confidence and expertise to advise and, when appropriate, challenge colleagues at all levels of the business. You will be authentic, compelling communicator that informs, inspires and motivates internal and external audiences. You will have a comprehensive understanding of social media and digital communications, and experience of working successfully on large-scale digital projects. You will be a passionate advocate of the importance of good design and possess a deep understanding of branding, and how to apply a dynamic brand within a corporate environment. You will be a natural networker, building relationships with people across and beyond the business. You will have experience in designing and delivering innovative employee events which engage, entertain, educate and inspire and will be able to respond to the demands of change -this means working comfortably with uncertainty at times, and creating focus where it’s needed. You’ll question the value of existing practices, bringing new thinking and ideas. You will seek to inspire your team and others to improve and develop what they do and how they do it. You’ll get the best from everyone and keep our communications function at the forefront of our business,
