Senior Regeneration Development Manager
£47,511 - £50,448 pa
An additional £7000(max) can be applied for an exceptional candidate
We are looking for a Senior Regeneration Manager to join Newham’s Regeneration Team with a focus on Stratford. This role combines line management responsibilities alongside the delivery of site development, cultural programmes, and managing a range of area based regeneration projects. The successful candidates will have experience of developing and delivering, regeneration projects in urban areas and managing capital and revenue budgets. Experience in working in multi-stakeholder environments will be key.
More specifically this role is designed to support the delivery of a number of initiatives across Stratford and the surrounding area. These initiatives include the development of regeneration masterplans, the delivery of interim uses strategies and the enablement of new social infrastructure, such as schools and health centres.
Articulate, pro-active, and self-motivated, you will be an extremely effective project manager, with a good knowledge of all aspects of the development process particularly in a regeneration context. You will have an understanding of development financing, stakeholder management, community engagement, physical and cultural place making, town planning, urban design and project delivery. You will also have experience of working to find innovative solutions to delivery through joint ventures and specialist delivery mechanisms.
