The Role

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Digital Communications Project Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of a new intranet for the business.
This is a senior role in the corporate communications team, and will involve working closely with the Programme Management Office, ICT and key stakeholders across the business. The role does not have line management responsibilities but will be supported by a part-time digital officer.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the project management and delivery of a new intranet, including oversight of all project phases – strategy, design, technical, training and build – in partnership with the agreed intranet provider • Working closely with the Programme Management Office, ICT and the agreed provider to ensure effective systems integration, functionality and technical delivery• Delivering a solution that is accessible to field-based colleagues • Understanding the needs of different business areas in line with business objectives. Working with key internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure that functionality and content meets those needs• Developing intranet content that is clear, concise and engaging, reflecting Lewisham Homes’ mission, objectives and values• Clear and appropriate reporting, including leading project board meetings and presenting to senior stakeholders (eg executive leadership team, heads of service)
