Hill Park School is a two site (Primary/ Secondary) special school for pupils aged 4 - 16 years for pupils with needs ranging from moderate (MLD), severe (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Some pupils also have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC), complex medical needs or physical disabilities.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to join our premises team. We currently have a Site Manager and one other Assistant Site Manager. The ideal candidate will be extremely flexible, proactive, able to work well within an established team, able to resolve premises issues and have a good working knowledge of health and safety requirements. Good IT skills especially emailing and viewing spreadsheets are essential. Duties will also include being one of the first points of contacts for matters regarding buildings, grounds, security and maintenance of the site. The successful applicant will also need to have a good range of skills including building maintenance, together with general DIY skills for repairs and maintenance. Willingness to be flexible with your hours as and when required will be advantageous.
The two sites of Hill Park School are very busy and this is a varied role and will involve daily interaction with the pupils.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
