Senior Planning Officers
36 hours a week – We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements including part time hours, compressed hours, working from home and staggered start and finish times

Up to £45,711 pa (including a market factor supplement which is reviewed annually)
These are full time positions within one of our Area teams. The roles offer opportunities to gain experience and deal with the full range of planning applications, including industrial, retail, business, residential, heritage and public sector schemes reflecting the diverse composition of this Borough. With the emphasis on collaborative working, this is an exciting opportunity at the heart of our area planning teams, focused on delivering a range of development schemes, planning performance and excellent customer experience.
A sound understanding of development management and associated legislation and procedures will be essential and experience of handling all levels of appeal case work will be desirable. Further training opportunities will be available to enhance your skills
You will have excellent customer focus and be able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with applicants and their agents, Councilors and residents.
