Assistant Head Teacher

Salary: L12 - L16 (£57,116 - £62,786 p.a.)

Empower Learning Academy Trust (ELAT) was formed in September 2016 and currently consists of four academies: Hall Mead School, The Brittons Academy, Bower Park Academy and Hacton Primary School.

 

The Trust are seeking to appoint a dynamic senior leader for as soon as possible to its central school improvement team. This is an exciting position for someone with a proven track record in improving the quality of education in a department or whole school with a remit to drive up standards in specific areas across one or more academies within our Trust. The approach will be a blended one according to need, that may involve secondments, providing coaching "on the ground" and providing CPD. You will usually be expected to teach a reduced timetable in at least one of our academies. You will be part of the three-person Academy Effectiveness Team and report directly to the CEO, as well as take up a position as a member of the Trust's Education Strategy Group, which meets monthly.
