Edith Kerrison Nursery School and Children’s Centre is a family focussed setting where children, parents and staff play and learn together.
We are a highly inclusive school with IQM flagship status.
We are seeking to appoint a new Senco for 2 days a week to join our dedicated staff. You will be responsible for leading SEN and inclusion, supported by a highly effective team of early year’s educators. This is a non-class based position.
Ideally the position will start in January 2020 although this could be negotiated to an earlier/later start date for the right candidate.
We are looking for applicants with previous experience working as a Senco and who have already completed the National Award for SEN Coordination. They should also have demonstrated excellent practice when in role as a classroom teacher.
You will be joining a happy, committed staff with early years expertise who will work with you and encourage you in developing your career path through extensive opportunities of professional development.
Salary will be in line with teachers pay and conditions and based on experience and proficiency.
