We are currently seeking to recruit an Account Manager for a position situated within our Supported Employment team who has experience of developing a range of opportunities for individuals who are eligible to access Adult Health and Social Care services and are seeking employment.

Account Manager (2 years Fixed Term)
£32,430 pa - £34,794 pa (yearly increments)
The award winning Supported Employment Service provides employment, training, apprenticeship and work experience opportunities for Newham residents managing a disability, mental health, other health conditions or autism who would like to secure employment.
This is a multi-faceted role offering an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager who has experience negotiating and co-ordinating employment pathways for individuals marginalised in the labour market.
Although this post is based in Stratford at The Grove, you may be required to work at other LBN locations or on the premises of one of our stakeholders or from employer premises. We are looking for an individual with a demonstrable track record of placing people into sustained employment.
This position will suit a self-starter, who is able to use their own initiative, whilst also implementing evidence based employment models, such as IPS/Supported Employment. The post holder is expected to work closely with Employment Support Advisors, Adult Social Care teams, Newham residents, training/educational establishments and employers, to ensure that Newham residents are best placed to access and benefit from regeneration opportunities in Newham and the surrounding areas.
As an Account Manager in the Supported Employment Team you will need:
- Evidence of sustained success in a previous role in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of the social model of disability.
- A solid understanding of the local labour market and ability to develop business for the client base.
- Knowledge of the Newham demographics and different candidate types
- Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Confidence, professionalism and pragmatism
The ability to manage and prioritise your time and tasks effectively
