Part-Time /Term-Time Kitchen Assistant Frances Bardsley School

Grade 2-£18357-£18936pro rata

To undertake the preparation, simple cooking and the serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements.

1. The postholder reports to: Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative

2. The postholder has line management responsibility for: No direct staffing responsibilities

3. The postholder will be required to work: in different school sites as and when required

4. Hours of work 7.5 Hours per week


• Ability to undertake food preparation under supervision.
• Ability to accept cash and give change accurately.
• Ability to present an acceptable image
• Ability to operate basic industrial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm, diplomatic and competent manner
