We are looking for highly motivated and competent individuals who enjoy working in a challenging environment, meeting deadlines to ensure the Council's domestic and commercial property databases are accurate and up to date in order to maximise council tax and business rates income.

Duties are varied, requiring an extensive set of skills, knowledge and aptitude, described within the role profile.

You will be able to use computerised account systems to accurately process Council Tax and Business Rates schedules from the Valuation Office Agency, to ensure that property billing databases and associated customer accounts are maintained to a very high standard.

Excellent teamwork is essential, as is recognising the need to manage your own workload in a changing environment.

You will also demonstrate the communication skills needed to liaise effectively with internal departments, external organisations and to respond to customer enquiries.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
