It is also a highly desirable place to live. We pride ourselves on our ability to evolve and reshape to meet the needs of a changing population in what is one of London’s most densely populated areas.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council are hugely ambitious and constantly striving to be the best. Our newly combined Regeneration, Planning and Housing service is at the heart of what is to come. We are passionate about place-making, matching the expectations of our residents with high quality homes including affordable housing and creating places where people will aspire to live and work.

We are looking to recruit a Principal Manager – Planned and Capital Works to provide essential leadership to teams responsible for the delivery of the Planned & Capital Works programme and other complex schemes. This includes major regeneration projects / programmes of work, ensuring that the primary and secondary contractors are compliant with the terms of their contracts, and works are delivered on time, within budget and meet agreed key performance indicator targets. You will also ensure that the long term TPC Partnership is successfully implemented and embedded to maintain and improve all housing related assets.

About you

We are looking for an experienced manager, one with a positive and proactive approach, a commitment to providing excellent customer service, and the flexibility to work in a changing environment.

As the successful candidate, you will come with experience of working at a strategic level in Property Services and a knowledge of managing planned and preventative maintenance services within a social housing environment. This should include a knowledge of CDM Regulations and Local Authority Health and Safety in relation to maintenance of assets.
