These are exciting times for ICT in Hillingdon and we are looking to fill a number of posts that can assist with embedding these changes. About the job We are looking to appoint a QA Tester to join our Solution Development team. As a QA Tester, you will be analytical and dynamic with the ability to plan, design, manage and execute tests. You will ensure that new and amended systems, packages or services together with any interfaces, perform as specified. Working in Agile sprints, you will collaborate with colleagues across different work streams, creating or using open source software and APIs. About the person As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will have: - Demonstrable experience in the design, use and maintenance of test methodologies to measure the quality of software being tested and identification of bugs or remedial action required. - Experience of developing test plans and test cases / scenarios. - Experience and ability of investigating software issues and communicating requirements to development teams. - Ability and experience of using different testing methodologies including regression,integration,unit,system,sanity,end-to-end. - Ability to use a range of tools to automate testing of new or amended systems. In addition, you will be adaptable, methodical and dedicated to resolving problems. You will work well within a team, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exemplary service.
